This third and final version of Bleak Encounter was an experiment in which Soundtracking The Void label master Thomas Ragsdale processed the original tracks through a reel-to-reel tape machine and a vintage space echo unit to create unique new interpretations. The machines added strange interference noises and unpredictable audio glitches that gave a new dimension to the 'clean' renditions. What you hear in these alternate versions is raw analogue manipulation - Some of the pieces seem relatively similar to their original counterparts while others take on a different feeling altogether.

Originally released in September 2019 as a limited code inside the ten physical editions of Bleak Encounter made available by Soundtracking The Void.
